This is a laboratory, not a business. Every page here exists to test how search engines and AI assistants handle structured data. Nothing is for sale and no organisation described on this site is real.

Event

Event, with the properties everyone skips

Event markup with time zones, eventStatus, attendance mode and a real Place, on an openly fictional listing.

This event is not real. Nobody is performing, no tickets exist, and the venue is invented. It is written out in full so that Event markup can be tested against a page that genuinely reads like an event listing.

A Night of Nothing In Particular

An evening of readings and quiet music in a room with bad acoustics and good chairs. Doors at 19:00, first reader at 19:30, finished by 22:00. Standing room at the back.

Where

The Long Room, 14 Invented Street. Up one flight of stairs, no lift.

What this specimen is testing

Event is the type where the gap between what people mark up and what the vocabulary actually asks for is widest. Dates are routinely written without a time zone, the location is routinely a string rather than a Place, and eventStatus and eventAttendanceMode are usually missing entirely even though both became load-bearing when events moved online.

This specimen fills all of them in, with an offer that is honest about the thing being free and fictional rather than inventing a price and an availability.
